Pattern Corrections
Oops! Unfortunately, we have found a couple of errors in the early printing of the following patters. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Lady Bugs in My Garden!
The fabric requirements indicated that you needed to buy 1/2 yard of the Green Print, but the pattern asked you to cut a 25 1/4" x 25 1/4" square into quarter-square triangles. Obviously, you don't have enough fabric! The actual fabric requirements should read 3/4 of a yard. If you purchased 1/2 yard, you can instead cut 2 squares 17 7/8" x 17 7/8". Cut both of these into half-square triangles.
Scattered Leaves
Double Oops! We have 2 corrections on this one.
- The fabric requirements indicated that you need to buy 1 yard of the Border Print, but the pattern asks you to cut 6 strips 6 1/2" wide. You are 3" short. The actual fabric requirements should read 1 1/4" yards of Border Print. If you have already purchased 1 yard, all you have to do is reduce the width of your border. Our original scattered leaves quilt had 4 1/2" borders and still looked great.
- In the cutting instructions, under "Leaves", we asked you to cut one 2 7/8" strip. From this strip you cut 8 squares 2 7/8" x 2 7/8". We forgot to ask you to cut these into half-square triangles.
